Armed with my iced coffee I am eagerly awaiting my connecting flight to Edmonton. I can't wait to get home!!! This has been a long and emotional day and I'm very much ready for it to be over.
I had written this post before and saved it accidentally as a draft...well has that "draft" made itself known to me? NOPE! Ho hum, I'll just re-write it! Won't be as witty as before because I'm that much more drained now! Ha ha
The flight from London wasn't too bad. It didn't go as quickly as the way there, but it was definitely made bearable by my good friends Mr.Ativan and Mr.Amstel!! I slept for a few hours and tried to ignore the guy in front who was clearly exempt from the seatbelt rules during turbulence!! Oh and he had his seat so far back I thought I would have his head in my lap!!!
Moving swiftly on...I can almost hear my bed calling! My munchkins are in bed, but I will be popping in to say to them...man, have I missed them! I still stand by the fact that we need our kids more than they need us at times!!! They are truly the best medicine.
Right, I'm signing off until I'm home and rested! That usually entails a good night's sleep and about 4 cups of coffee!! Thank you for letting me share this journey with you...
